Avast ye mateys! For all ye foodies out there, looloo has put together a map of the food-lovers’ treasure trove known as Kapitolyo!

Lined with “hidden gem” food spots, Kapitolyo has slowly earned its reputation as a foodie haven, known only to those adventurous enough to weather the Pasig traffic in search of Manila’s best restaurants. Drop by the area for some hearty Kare-Kare at Cafe Juanita, some angus beef burgers from the carwash/restaurant Charlie’s, or have a taste of Germany by sampling Poco Deli’s sausages. Top off your trip with a double scoop serving of Mad Mark’s ice cream — trust me, it’s worth the extra calories.

Until the iPhone app launches next month, we hope this map is enough to keep your thirst for discovering new places quenched. If you haven’t yet, don’t forget to sign up for launch updates on looloo.com!

Cool! Glad you like it! Hope you can share with your friends too! :D I wish we could’ve fit Nav in, you’re right. :( But I definitely agree with you — Charlie’s and Poco Deli are awesome! (I’ve yet to try Haru). Thanks again, rftreyes!

[…] An infographic has been making the rounds lately of a map that showcases the awesome food spots that dot Kapitolyo. It had been shared so much that just a few days ago the creators already made an updated map! I guess, one, a lot of people really appreciate good, relate-able infographics, and two, that’s a testament of how the area’s being recognized as a real urban foodie destination. Totally cool. […]

Great map! Although Rub Ribs and Juanito’s Bistro were missed out on! (Further down the road from Mad Mark’s) Hope to see the updated version soon! :)
